Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated June 1, 2026

OFAC Alert is a subscription software service. This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work. It supplements the "Subscriptions" section of our Terms of Service.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which appears on your statement and issues your receipt.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard, or by emailing legal@ofacalert.com. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Your subscription — and your access to the Services — continues until the end of the current paid term. We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a term you have already paid for.

Refunds

Because subscriptions are billed in advance and access is provided immediately, we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time after a renewal.

If you were charged in error, were charged after cancelling, or are otherwise dissatisfied, email us at legal@ofacalert.com within 14 days of the charge. We review every request and, at our discretion, may issue a full or partial refund — for example for a duplicate charge, a renewal you intended to cancel, or a first-time subscription that did not meet your needs.

Refunds, when granted, are returned to your original payment method through Paddle. You can also contact Paddle directly using the receipt they send you after each payment.

Free plan

The Free plan is, and remains, free of charge. Nothing is billed, so nothing is refunded.
